A new sustainable way of life
OXYGEN is the first residential complex in Greece with an international sustainability certification.
It already has the BREEAM certification for the “Design Stage”, and upon completion of the construction it will also be certified for the “Post-Construction Stage”.

- It examines buildings using a holistic approach including 10 individual categories:
Health and Wellbeing, Energy, Innovation, Land Use and Ecology, Materials, Management, Pollution, Transport, Waste, Water.

A warm, pleasant and healthy house
Big Openings
Enjoy the outside view from the comfort of your home. All residences have big openings for plenty of natural lighting and ventilation. Low-e windows minimize heat loss in the winter and solar heat gains in the summer.
Warmth and wellbeing
Walk barefoot on the wooden floors thanks to underfloor heating, regardless of how cold it is outside. Oak floors throughout the house (apart from the bathrooms), while wellbeing is ensured by the underfloor heating. Plus, the absence of heating devices saves space in the house.
Cook with natural gas
We bring natural gas to your kitchen. It is up to you whether you want to use it for your cooking. Gas allows you to cook more delicious food, ensures that the food is cooked evenly, and it is clearly more cost-efficient.

Many of the materials used in construction emit chemicals such as the Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) which can adversely affect our health and deteriorate respiratory diseases such as asthma and allergies. Unfortunately, many of these are odorless.
The BREEAM certification sets low VOC levels for the materials used inside OXYGEN homes, such as paints, enamels, adhesives, wood products and wooden floors etc.
Effectively manage the heating of your house
Choose your desired temperature for each room of the house. You will be able to select different temperatures in the living room and the bedroom, if you wish to do so. We install one thermostat in the living room and one in each bedroom.

If it is not being measured, it cannot be improved
Each residence has its own monitor (E MAX by Efergy) for tracking its power consumption in real time. You can also view your consumption history for the previous months. This way, you can take any corrective actions you want. Finally, you will be aware of your power consumption before receiving the bill. You can view the E MAX video here.
Clean energy production
OXYGEN produces electricity though rooftop PV panels. Net Metering allows the Management of the building to cover a significant part of the common power consumption. Significantly reduced electricity bills for the common areas.
Water saving
Efficient sanitary fittings are used throughout the residences (kitchen/bathroom sink, shower). The plants selected for the garden have low water requirements.
Composting is the way to go!
Transform your organic waste (fruits, vegetables, leaves, branches etc.) into a rich organic mix, the compost. Dispose of your organic waste in the special OXYGEN bins. Protect the environment by significantly reducing the waste that ends up in landfills. At the same time, this waste will be transformed into high-quality natural fertilizer which will be used by the gardener at the OXYGEN garden.
